Our traditional 4-star hotel is built on ancient Roman walls and located in the heart of Salzburg`s old town centre. The Altstadthotel Kasererbräu is situated at the foot of the fortress Hohensalzburg, directly in the pedestrian area. The hotel has been run by the Giebisch family for generations.

The traditional and long-established hotel provides a family atmosphere during your stay. Our hotel is surrounded by many famous sights, the perfect starting point to explore the beautiful town. Our spa with sauna and steam bath invites to relax (included in the price).

Food & Beverage

Our delicious and varied breakfast buffet awaits you from 06:30 until 10:30. Enjoy great Italian cuisine in our restaurant "Trattoria Domani", open from 12:00 until 14:00 and from 18:00 until 22:00 (Closed on Sunday). Visit our coffee-house "Cafe Sezession" for Austrian coffee specialities! Open from Monday to Friday 10:00 to 01:00. Weekends and Public Holidays it is open from 17:00 to 01:00.
